Aero-Classics Heat Transfer Products, Inc., the world’s largest manufacturer of FAA-PMA (Federal Aviation Administration - Parts Manufacturing Approved) oil coolers for General Aviation, has received FAA-PMA for their factory new replacement DHC-2 Beaver oil coolers.
Aero’s new P/N 8001628 oil cooler is an FAA Approved replacement for DHC-2 Beavers that use the aluminum P/N 60680 oil cooler, while Aero’s new P/N 8001241 oil cooler is an approved replacement for Beavers that use the 7” brass oil cooler.
Both of these new Aero-Classics oil coolers feature modern vacuum-brazed aluminum bar and plate cores, enclosed in a round aluminum housing that replicates the original, exactly. Gone are the troublesome tubed cores which can now be replaced with a state-of-the-art, dependable oil cooler design.
Aero’s factory new replacement coolers use the same valve and thermo-regulating modules of the originals. Each cooler comes with a factory 2 Year/2,000 Hour Limited Warranty and FAA Form 8130-3.
These factory new oil coolers from Aero-Classics are priced at $2,495.00 exchange, plus a $500.00 core deposit, each. What is important to note is that the core deposit will be refunded regardless of the condition of the returned core. No matter if it is repairable – or impact damaged scrap, the $500.00 core deposit will always be refunded.
