AMSTAT Releases latest Market Update Report examining market metrics to assess the recovery in the Business Aviation Market

Tinton Falls, NJ – October 15, 2010: The business jet aircraft market saw 2.3% of the worldwide fleet
change hands via resale retail transactions in the third quarter of 2010, which represented a slight
decrease from 2.4% in Q2, according to the quarterly Market Update report released today by AMSTAT,
the leading provider of corporate aviation fleet and operator information. According to Tom Benson,
Executive Vice President of AMSTAT, transaction activity for both business jets and turboprops has
improved from the bottom seen in early 2009 and has “settled into a consistent range that we’ve now
seen for the past five quarters.”

The report goes on to point out that while the worldwide inventory of used business jets for sale held
steady at 15.5% of the fleet in the third quarter, the inventory of turboprops for sale decreased
promisingly from 12.4% to 12.0%. Looking forward, Benson is hopeful that this year’s fourth quarter
bump in market activity will “carry us into a year of steady improvements in 2011.”
