Award of Excellence Renamed after Aviation Maintenance Leader (PAMA)

 

PAMA renames the Award of Excellence after the Late Pioneer of Aviation Maintenance Mr. William H. Collister

PAMA announces the Award of Excellence has been renamed to the William Collister Award of Excellence to honor Mr. William Collister who passed away on October 21, 2010.

Mr. William Collister was the first Chairman of PAMA National from 1972-1976. He has been a principal supporter of the organization and his contributions have had a great impact on the Aviation Maintenance Community. The PAMA Board of Directors sends its condolences to his family and those close to him.

The Award of Excellence, now the William Collister Award of Excellence, is PAMA’s highest award and is reserved for those individuals or companies who have promoted the tenets of professionalism and integrity on behalf of the Aviation Maintenance Technician, while exemplifying honor and diligence within the aviation community.

PAMA’s 2010 Award nominations are open through November 30, 2010.
