KASOTA, Minn. - Door Engineering and Manufacturing, LLC recently introduced its newest security and monitoring control system, the GateKeeper. The system is designed for use with new or existing door systems, and allows building owners to manage all building openings at one central control station with minimal wiring.
The GateKeeper’s central control station features a color touch screen that displays the building’s layout with indicator lights monitoring each door’s position. Users can control each door individually (open, close and stop) or control all doors simultaneously (open all doors, close all doors). The GateKeeper also tracks the number of door operations and alerts the user when manufacturer’s recommended maintenance is required. The unique two-wire communication system connects the central unit to each entry in the building, minimizing field wiring. The GateKeeper is fully customizable to each structure and includes an optional “Smart Access” which will allow users to view information on or offsite with a secure internet connection.
“The GateKeeper will allow end users to optimize custom door applications beyond what is currently available in the marketplace,” explained Steve Saggau, President of Door Engineering. Door Engineering and Manufacturing has been providing industrial, commercial, fire rated, aviation and specialty door solutions to a variety of industries for over 40 years.
