FLYIT Simulators Inc. delivers AS 350 B3 cockpit specific Professional Helicopter Simulator to Hospital Wing

At Heli-Expo 2011 in Orlando Florida - FLYIT Simulators will be presenting Hospital Wing of Memphis, Tennessee the title to their new FLYIT AS 350 B3 Professional Helicopter Simulator. The Hospital Wing AS 350 Simulator will be giving demo flights at the FLYIT Simulators booth at HELI

The AS 350B3 Professional Helicopter Simulator (PHS) was built based on Hospital Wing actual Instrument panel including the VEMD. The AS350 PHS features a dual G430W & Auto Pilot along with the other instrumentation that comes standard to the AS 350B3.

Hospital Wing operates several AStar AS 350B3’s equipped to transport critically ill and injured patients. Hospital Wing is a non-profit air medical transport which provides inter-hospital transfers as well as emergency scene calls within 150 mile radius of Memphis. This area includes West Tennessee, Arkansas, Mississippi, Missouri, Alabama, and Kentucky. Hospital Wing aircraft are configured to carry a flight crew of three and one patient.

FLYIT Simulators was pleased to have been selected to work with Hospital Wing in providing a Flight Simulator that would mesh well with Hospital Wing’s training program. FLYIT’s AS 350 PHS will provide Hospital Wings flight crews a platform to maintain VFR, IFR, and emergency procedures skills through scenario based training to a very high level.
