Baldwin City, Kansas, December 29, 2011 – McFarlane is now offering new FAA-PMA approved controls for most single engine Piper Aircraft.  The new controls include carburetor heat, alternate air, fuel mixture, parking brake, and cabin environment.  Made with high-temperature Teflon lined conduit, the new controls offer reduced vibration wear, longer life, and smooth, consistent control.  Additional improvements include a special, heavier wire for more fatigue strength and reliability, an improved friction mechanism, and an anti-rotate feature to reduce stress on the inner wire. 

Also available are high quality replacement knobs for many applications.  The knobs duplicate the original Piper color and shape, maintaining original factory appearance of the instrument panel.
