MUSEUM OF AVIATION EDUCATION DEPARTMENT TO HOLD WORKSHOPS IN FEBRUARY

Warner Robins, GA-- The Museum of Aviation Education Department will hold two workshops, Construction Workshop and Air Traffic Control STEM Lab, on Saturday, February 24 in the Century of Flight Hangar.

In Construction Workshop, 1st–2nd grade students will plan and build a city using recycled items and their imagination. The Construction Workshop is three fun-filled hours, 9 am - 12 noon. The workshop will also focus heavily on recycling and the importance of knowing not all trash is garbage.

Air Traffic Control STEM Lab three-hour workshop from 9 am to 12 pm will allow students in 6th –9th grades to interact with simulatedpilotsand take full responsibility for the safe arrival of hundreds of passengers. It's authentic. It's tense.

The Museum of Aviation Air Traffic Control program is a state of the art, interactive application that simulates actual ATC activity at Atlanta Hartsfield International Airport.
