The 5th annual Taste of Flight Gala at Planes of Fame Air Museum, October 22nd 2011, will be made even more special and relevant by guest of honor Louis Zamperini. Taste of Flight guests will have an opportunity to see Louis Zamperini: Olympic Hero, WWII B-24 Bombardier, B-24 crash survivor, POW who despite all this went on to build a successful life in postwar America! Louis Zamperini went from being captured and interned as a POW in WWII Japan to carrying the Olympic Torch for the 1998 Nagano Winter Games past Naoetsu where he was interned as a POW… his spirit is truly unbroken! A limited number of tickets will be sold for $125 per person with VIP table sponsorships available for $2,500 and up.
