ARE YOU READY FOR THE MUSEUM OF AVIATION FOUNDATION AUCTION AND RAFFLE ON SATURDAY, JULY 16?
DO YOU ALREADY HAVE YOUR TICKET?
Hello friends! I want to give you some advance info on some of the items that will be auctioned off a week from tomorrow at the Museum of Aviation. Attached is the cover of the program which will be given to everyone that night and it lists all the restaurants and caterers that will be there and some of the items in the live auction. BUT from 6:30 to 8:30 pm you will have a blast roaming around the Century of Flight Hangar looking at 350 or more items in the silent auction. There will truly be something for everyone – items for men, women, children, the home and garden, sports-related items and many gift certificates from well-known merchants in the area.
THE TASTE OF LOCAL CUISINE
We’ve got 30 restaurants and caterers that will be offering their signature dishes from 7 to 8 pm – and a free bar from 6:30 to 7:30 pm! Can’t beat that, now can you?

PRE-RAFFLE BONUS DRAWING AND 50/50 DRAWING
If you haven’t got your ticket yet, get it by next Wednesday ‘cause we’ll have a drawing at 5:00 pm for a $250 VISA gift card. And if you win that, you’ll still be eligible to win the big drawings on July 16 following the live auction part of the evening:
The $100 ticket gets TWO people into the auction for all the fun and a chance to win. During the evening you will also be able to get in on a 50/50 cash drawing with the purchase of a $10 blinking pin. We’ll do a “heads and tails” elimination until someone is the last person standing. Last year the winner got MORE THAN $1,000!
IT’S A FUN NIGHT AND A GOOD DEAL FOR A GOOD CAUSE
In the last nine months the Museum of Aviation has provided education programs for nearly 50,000 students! We’ve got a state-of-the-art flight simulation center, a NASA student and teacher resource center, we do live hook ups with NASA education centers, and we’re in the middle of our summers camps which will reach more than 500 kids with fun ways to learn more about math, science and technology. We’re now the third most visited DOD museum in the country with more than 655,000 visitors last year.
GET YOUR FRIENDS TO BUY A TICKET
We’ve only printed 2,000 tickets and haven’t sold them all yet. So, your odds of winning $30,000 are a lot better than the Georgia lottery. Pass this message along to someone you know who might not know about this opportunity yet and help us sell more tickets.
