The George Lucas movie "Red Tails" just opened in theatres and it's shining a spotlight on an amazing story in our country's history.
The epic follows the true story of the Tuskegee Airmen who fought with the Allied forces in World War II. The Tuskegee men were segregated black pilots who were given second-rate planes and missions after they were shipped out into combat. But when a dangerous mission arose -- providing safe escort to bombers in broad daylight -- the Tuskegee pilots stepped up to the challenge in order to fight for their country and against the racial discrimination that had been holding them back.
Sam has two Limited Edition prints that showcase the P-51 with its distinctive red tail. When fighter pilots saw that red tail, they felt confident they would get to their targets.
