U.S. Sport Aviation Expo - Celebrating 10 Years

On January 16 – 19, 2014 the Sebring Regional Airport will host the 10th annual U.S. Sport Aviation Expo.  Sebring’s Expo is the original, and remains the largest, sport aircraft event in the world to see, try, fly, and buy sport aircraft.  This event, with its focus on Sport Aircraft and the Sport Pilot Certificate, continues to grow in importance and in attendance with a great group of exhibitors, sponsors, partners, media, and concessionaires.  These associates travel to Sebring from nearly forty states and from several foreign countries to include Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, New Zealand, and Romania.  The 4-day Sebring Expo is the first major aviation event of the year, and is known in the aviation industry as the place for new product introduction.  And, the Sebring Expo has never failed to produce at least a few pleasant surprises each year.

Over 140 aircraft were displayed at Expo 2013, with an estimated 40 aircraft sales generated from the many exhibiting aircraft sellers that included dealers, manufacturers, and engineers of aircraft, avionics, electronics, and pilot supplies in addition to training systems, aircraft insurance, and financial institutions.  Over 17,500 attendees came to Sebring to see, try, fly and, in some cases, buy a new plane and all the necessary gear for both plane and pilot.

In addition to the exposition, trade show, demonstration flights, and seaplane base, the Sebring Expo features manufacturer showcases, a variety of educational forums, keynote speakers, aviation artists, and food concessionaires.  Expo 2014 will add Workshops to the daily agenda and is offering a special invitation to Homebuilts and Kit Builders.

The U.S. Sport Aviation Expo not only brings economic development to the airport, community, and surrounding areas, but also brings together world-wide sport aviation leaders to promote their aircraft and associated products to a rapidly growing group of like-minded professionals, specializing in the field of sport aviation.
