Friday, April 30, 2010 - 3:30pm
MADISON, Wisconsin (April 30, 2010) – If you've ever said to yourself, "Someday I really want to experience the freedom of flight," then your opportunity is International Learn to Fly Day on Saturday, May 15, 2010.
International Learn to Fly Day is a worldwide campaign designed to introduce people to the world of aviation and encourage would-be pilots to get started on flight training. Wisconsin Aviation’s three flight school locations in Watertown, Juneau, and Madison are taking part with free presentations scheduled throughout the day.
Wisconsin Aviation’s certified flight instructors will talk about what to expect during flight training, types of aircraft pilots train in, and how to get started. A question-and-answer session will follow each 30-minute presentation.
Tickets are required to attend. For free tickets and more details about International Learn to Fly Day, go to www.learntoflyday.org and search for the location nearest you.
