OSHKOSH, Wisconsin - (July 5, 2018) - For the first time in North America, a drone light show will be part of an air show when EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2018 presents up to 100 lighted drones in flight during night air shows on July 25 and 28, creating another “Only at Oshkosh” experience.

Change is not always easy, but it can be good.  That is the case for Malissa Nesmith, after 14 years with  Malissa has joined the team at Lee Aerospace, Inc. as Vice President of Marketing.  Founded in 1989 by owner/President, Jim Lee, Lee Aerospace is well known for their reputation in window manufacturing.  They have both OEM production as well as aftermarket support.  “I grew up on aftermarket in the aviation industry, so that is one strength that I bring to Lee.  However, just as exciting is the manufacturing capabilities that we have at Lee Aerospace.  It is kind of aviation’s best kept secret!” says Nesmith.  With her new position, getting the secret out to the industry will be Malissa’s number one priority.

JetLoan Capital appoints Michael Thompson as their new Director of Marketing. Michael will join Sam Harris, Melanie Malanowski and the JetLoan Capital team as they aim to increase their presence in the general aviation and business jet financing markets. Michael’s studies include a bachelor’s degree from Flagler College in Saint Augustine, Florida where he focused in Business, Marketing, Finance and Law. He strives to combine his passion for the aviation industry with a successful business career. Michael dedicated his childhood to the Boy Scouts of America and his journey to Eagle Scout included frequent volunteer work, and involvement in the community.

The technology company TQ-Group, which has established a reputation as a meeting the highest quality in engineering and precision products, will debut two of their general aviation product ranges for the EAA AirVenture audience this year. One is an ADS-B transponder in the final stages of certification and the other is a VHF Transceiver that has become very popular in Europe.
