35 American ambassadors to interact with the world’s aviation community

ARLINGTON, Va. — Nearly three dozen Civil Air Patrol cadets, ages 17 to 20, gathered at their launching hubs this weekend before leaving the country to represent the United States on an international exchange of goodwill and a mutual love of aviation. Their travels around the world officially begin today and will end on Aug. 4.

The exhibit will be one of the main attractions on Boeing Plaza during the Experimental Aircraft Association’s 65th annual fly-in convention at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh.

MAXWELL AIR FORCE BASE, Ala. – More than 400 Civil Air Patrol officers and cadets from across America are gathering this month in Indiana for the National Emergency Services Academy, a multidisciplinary training program to be held July 8-22 at Camp Atterbury, a 30,000-acre Indiana National Guard facility in Edinburgh.

Schweiss Doors supplies bifold liftstrap door for new hangar

FAIRFAX, Minn., July 6, 2017 – The new Ross Shaw Sterling Aviation High School in Houston offers students the opportunity to attend a high school that focuses its curriculum around flying, including a chance to get flight certified. The new hangar holds the school’s two aircraft behind a bifold liftstrap door from Schweiss Doors.
