| Additional Information | The Turbine powered Comp Air 7SL is truly a pilot's airplane, for that person looking for a combination of high performance, rugged utility, style, and almost unprecedented load-carrying capability. The powerful, rugged, Czech-built Walter 601 turbine engine powers a massive three-blade AVIA propeller. The engine was originally designed and flown in the brutal conditions of commercial operations in Siberia and the Russian bush. This engine has only 30 hours of operation since IRAN by Diemech Turbines, Inc., of DeLand, FL. The engine is built to last, and has minimal maintenance requirements. The Walter Turbine can produce 657 ESHP, and causes the Comp Air 7SL to literally ''launch'' off the runway with climb rates of 2000-4000 feet per minute. And since Turbine engines are inherently more reliable than their gasoline powered competitors, you will have enhanced safety in all your flight activities.
The roomy cabin, easy access via 3 doors plus a cargo door, and tremendous luggage storage makes the Comp Air 7SL a perfect plane for fast, cross country adventures. This plane was professionally built in Merritt Island, FL, in 2001. It is a joy to fly.
